In 2023, a group of artists exhibited their paintings, sculptures, poetry, and more in a show called I Don’t Know Who Needs to Hear This.

This show was an interactive sensory experience that touched on themes of trauma and healing, with the underlying message that we are all worthy of love and respect.

This year, we are coming back to those themes after a few years of evolution with YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS. How have we grown? What have we learned about ourselves and about the world? How have our perspectives changed?

YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS is an exhibit that will address the necessary evolution from passive voice to active voice. It is a show that seeks to explore the nuance of a society that often chooses not to listen to the voices of people who are systematically ignored, abused, or even killed.
